Cat Dozer Moves More Material in Less Time

Terex Trucks Updates Articulated Hauler

Terex Trucks updated its TA300 articulated hauler with the introduction of a new and improved transmission. The 30-ton workhorse will now incorporate the latest EP320 transmission from ZF as standard. This results in a 5 percent improvement in fuel efficiency, as well as enhanced performance and productivity, when compared to the previous model working in the same application.

Liebherr PR 776 World’s First Hydrostatically Powered Dozer

Liebherr USA Co.’s new dozer, the PR 776 Generation 6, debuted at the 2018 Elko Mining Expo. The new PR 776 is powered by a Liebherr 12-cylinder diesel engine developing 768 hp/759 hp. It has a maximum operating weight of 161,354 lb. and is equipped with blade capacities of 23.5 cu. yd. (semi-U blade) or 28.8 cu. yd. (U blade).

Epiroc Releases Automation Package for Scooptram Underground Loader

For greater safety and efficiency, Epiroc released a number of automation features for the Scooptram underground loader. The Scooptram Automation Regular package allows the loader to be controlled through an operator station from a remote location.
