PacWest Machinery, the Pacific Northwest dealer for Volvo and other major brands, announced that it has begun construction on a 22,000-sq.-ft. facility in Portland, Ore., and expects it to be operational in the first quarter of 2017.
The new building will sit on approximately six acres and will include a 10-bay service center. The site will have an expanded parts warehouse, modern showroom and service capability, with space for stocking more equipment, demos and training. The dealership will deliver products in Oregon and southwest Washington.
“We’re investing heavily to meet the needs of a growing customer base,” said Jolene Logue, PacWest Machinery president. “Delivering responsive service requires that we provide our employees the tools, facilities and training to perform at their best.”
