ConExpo-Con/Agg 2017 has been named to the U.S. government’s ‘International Buyer Program’ (IBP) in recognition of the show’s global scope and reputation as a leading worldwide event.
The IBP works to increase international attendance at U.S.-based exhibitions and create global business opportunities for show exhibitors. A select number of U.S. trade shows each year receive the IBP designation from the U.S. Department of Commerce after a rigorous selection process.
“ConExpo-Con/Agg is honored to have again attained this prestigious status that underscores our value and the continued importance of the construction industries in world trade, with 24 percent of attendees at the last show from outside the U.S.,” stated Rich Goldsbury, ConExpo-Con/Agg 2017 chair and president of Bobcat Co. and Doosan.
ConExpo-Con/Agg 2017 will be held March 7-11, 2017, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas. The co-located IFPE exhibition will also offer IBP services and benefits.
Under the IBP, the U.S. government will assist show promotion through its worldwide network of embassies and consulates as well as recruit official trade delegations to attend.
Exhibitors can take advantage of practical, hands-on business assistance from the IBP, including export counseling and market analysis. A "matchmaking" service will bring together international buyers with exhibitors interested in expanding their export business.
ConExpo-Con/Agg show management encourages all international show participants who need visas to initiate the application process well in advance of the show to assure they will be able to attend.
Show Management also partners with industry groups and other organizations to bring delegations of industry professionals together from around the world to ConExpo-Con/Agg 2017.
Information on visa applications, participating in or organizing a delegation and related information to assist international attendees is online at www.conexpoconagg.com in the Visit/International section.
