Luff Industries Ltd., Rocky View, Alberta, Canada, opened a new factory stocking location in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. The branch is located at 9293 Archibald Ave. Increased demand for Luff idlers, pulleys and accessories in the United States prompted Luff to find a location that would allow the company to provide quicker and easier access to product, according to the company.
Along with Luff’s CEMA B and C Series of idlers, the California branch will stock accessories including take-up frames, impact bars, guide rollers, return roller guarding and urethane products.
Sales Manager Steve Cook said a U.S. branch was an obvious choice in the company’s long-term goals and continued expansion in the North American market. “In terms of logistics, this is the ultimate solution to the elimination of cross-border shipments,” said Cook. “We have a continuous supply of inventory in California ready for shipment to anywhere in the western United States.”
Luff Industries will stock standard product for immediate availability to aggregate and mining-industry locations that operate in the western United States, but can still manufacture engineered-class product upon request, according to the company.
