Structural Group – a $420 million Baltimore-based specialty-contracting firm that delivers services, systems and technologies that build, repair, protect, strengthen and reinforce concrete, steel, masonry, timber and soils –– announced that industry veteran Jim Kirkland has joined the company as the vice president of commercial sales.
“As the Commercial Team’s vice president, Jim will work to leverage his vast sales and construction background to provide leadership with everything from sales coverage to how best to organize Structural’s commercial effort,” said Ken Chodnicki, Structural’s chief sales and marketing office. “We are excited to bring Jim on board. He will play a key role in building and executing our growth strategies.”
With an extensive sales management background, Kirkland has strong ties to the construction industry. Most recently, he was the vice president of the Commercial Business Group for Stock Building Supply – an industry leading building materials and solutions company for professional homebuilders and contractors in the United States. Before joining Stock, Kirkland was president and general manager of Ferguson Enterprises.
