Attendance was strong at The International Society of Explosive Engineer’s (ISEE) 37th Annual Conference, held at the Town and Country Resort in San Diego, February 6-9. Blasters, manufacturers, government officials and suppliers gathered from all over the world to conduct business, exchange information and form new business alliances, according to the association.
The highlight of the Blasters Weekend Package was the Blasters Training Seminar and Blasters-R-Us Video Roundup. Attendees filled the exhibit hall during the Welcome Reception and ATF Deputy Director Kenneth E. Melson delivered opening remarks at the show.
More than 70 papers on topics ranging from blasting, safety, vibration, drilling and special projects were presented. Forty-nine countries were represented as the International events brought guests together from all over the world.
