Doosan Upgrades Crawler Excavator

35 Doosan 150The 129-net-hp Doosan DX180LC-5 crawler excavator has been added to the Tier 4-compliant lineup, featuring improved performance, operator comfort, fuel economy and jobsite durability, according to the company. The model replaces the interim Tier 4 (iT4) DX180LC-3 crawler excavator.

While on/off fan drive models offer durability and fuel efficiency for over-the-road applications, BorgWarner engineers note, the K32 DuroSpeed suits severe service vehicles by significantly reducing fan engagements – boosting reliability and lowering noise. The clutch can be used in on/off-road or off-road vehicles with up to 32-in. diameter cooling fans.
