Converting Quarry Water To Drinking Water

Kraemer Mining & Materials Inc. operates a quarry that mines dolomite limestone deposits in Burnsville, Minn., just south of the Minnesota River. The mining operation requires dewatering the quarry, and Kraemer is now pumping 10 million gallons a day into the Minnesota River.
