Former NFL Star Discusses Chemical-Free Water Treatment for Fracking

Drew Bledsoe, former NFL quarterback and principal of Bledsoe Capital Group, appeared on CNBC's Closing Bell on Friday, March 22nd to discuss how Ecosphere's patented Ozonix technology is allowing oil and gas exploration companies to recycle wastewater and eliminate chemicals traditionally used in the hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, process.

Nuinsco Enters Into Loan Agreement with Victory Nickel

Nuinsco Resources has entered into a loan agreement to provide Victory Nickel Inc. with a secured loan facility of up to $3 million. The loan bears interest at 12 percent per annum, payable quarterly in arrears, and matures on Jan. 31, 2015.

Northern Frac Proppants to Supply CARBO

Northern Frac Proppants, LLC announced a multi-year agreement to supply Northern White frac sand to CARBO’s new processing plant in western Wisconsin. Houston-based NFP is building a 145-acre sand mine and processing plant adjacent to CARBO’s sand processing and resin-coating plant in Marshfield, Wis.

Business Heats Up in New Mexico

Rangeland Energy LLC has agreed to buy up to 770 acres of property near Loving, N.M., to begin the development of a large terminal facility capable of transporting crude oil, frac sand, drill pipe and other materials on behalf of oil customers, according to the San Antonio Business Journal.

Wisconsin Frac Sand Plants Cited

Only one in five frac sand mining facilities in Wisconsin were cited for environmental violations last year, according to the Wisconsin Public Radio and the Superior Telegram.
