Telsmith Breaks Ground on New Parts Distribution Center

TELSMITH---LogoNovember 13, 2012 – Leaders from Telsmith Inc., Astec Industries and the City of Mequon, Wis., broke ground for construction of a 33,760 sq. ft. facility to handle worldwide parts distribution for Telsmith products. The new parts distribution center will be located adjacent to Telsmith’s existing manufacturing facilities in Mequon, Wis., 20 minutes north of downtown Milwaukee.

Volvo Breaks Ground

Volvo-ConstructionMay 4, 2012 – Volvo Construction Equipment broke ground on the first phase of a $100 million expansion of its site in Shippensburg, Pa. The first phase includes construction of a new headquarters office. Volvo CE is making a commitment to have machines built locally. The expansion will bring production of some key product lines to Shippensburg.

Deere to Expand Manufacturing Capacity

DeereLogoJune 16, 2012 – Deere & Co. announced it will invest $47 million to expand manufacturing capacity in its Moline, Ill., cylinder operations, where the company builds a broad range of hydraulic cylinders used in the company's agricultural, construction and forestry machines sold around the world. "John Deere's continued global growth requires the company to invest in our manufacturing operations," said Mark Von Pentz, president of Deere's Worldwide Agriculture & Turf Division.

New Store in Phoenix

Atlas_Copco_PhoenixApril 2, 2012 – Atlas Copco opened the doors to its 14th U.S. store, marked by a grand opening and ribbon-cutting event Feb. 23 in Phoenix. The celebration was attended by about 100 customers who benefited from presentations on equipment features. Atlas Copco chose this location to support the region’s large customer base in drilling, blasting and paving.
