Baldor Reliance crusher-duty motors meet the demands of the toughest crushing applications worldwide with improved performance, reliability and energy efficiency to help lower the operator’s total cost of ownership. Featuring higher break down and locked rotor torque, NEMA Design A performance gets the driven load moving and keeps it moving.
Available from 5 to 400 hp in base speeds of 900, 1200 and 1800 rpm, the entire product line is available from stock and meets current NEMA Premium Efficiency energy standards. The platform also meets future regulations outlined by the Integral Horsepower Rule, which took effect June 1st.
When efficiency is not the main concern, motors 100 hp and below are rated for 1.25 Service Factor (SF) providing aggressive overload parameters when needed, while motors above 100 hp are rated for 1.15 SF. Built for the demands of the aggregate industry, Baldor Reliance crusher duty motors are rated IP55, with severe duty features to keep moisture and contamination out.
Flexibility and ease of use have been optimized for drop in replacement on all frame sizes. Thirty hp and below utilize oversized ball bearings for belted or coupled loads. Forty hp and above are available in roller or ball bearings designs. Motors with roller bearings as standard are field changeable to ball bearings and suitable for across the line starting or inverter duty.
