March 4, 2014 – Komatsu America, at a ConExpo-Con/Agg press conference, featured its CEO and Chaiman Rod Schrader and Rich Smith, vice president of the Information Communication Technology Business Division and Product Marketing. Both speakers highlighted Komatsu’s theme of “Innovative, Intelligent, Integrated.” They specifically addressed how Komatsu strives to design and manufacture customer satisfaction into every machine the company builds. They noted that Komatsu teams go out in the field and spend time with customers so that Komatsu can understand what customers need to make their business better. They also discussed the genesis of Komatsu's family of four intelligent Machine Control dozers.
